Park Street

Original black-and-white aquatint etching depicting Park Street in Vienna, Virginia, as it appeared in 1957.

Featuring vintage automobiles, local storefronts, and the familiar Texaco sign, this historic streetscape captures the character of small-town Vienna during the mid-twentieth century, one that has changed considerably over the decades.

Created using traditional intaglio printmaking techniques, the etching combines fine etched detail with the rich tonal qualities of aquatint.

Each impression is hand-pulled from the original etched plate, individually numbered and signed in pencil by the artist.
